Windows 10 PC has several system files and folders hidden by default for security reasons in order that a non-techie user doesn’t delete any by mistake to release junk from his PC and ending up getting his Windows PC function improperly.
However, if you’re a PC geek and need to access hidden files and folders from your windows disk drive for a few reason you’ll easily do so by following below mentioned 2 methods.
Step 1 :- Open File Explorer from the taskbar. If you can’t find File Explorer within the taskbar you can alternatively search it within the search bar or Press ( Win + E ).
Step 2 :- Next, click on View then on Show/hide and click on the checkbox to pick hidden items. Alternatively, you can find change folder and search options under the choices tab within the file.
Step 3 :- After selecting the change folder and search options a popup will open the folder options. Again, click view within the folder options and here you can select show hidden files, folders and drives option.
Step 1 :- Open control panel by searching into the search bar and choose Appearance and Personalization.
Step 2 :- On the next window, Under the File Explorer Options select Show hidden files and folder. A popup window will open with file explorer options where you can select show hidden files, folders and drives option.
