There are five types of page roles you can assign with varying roles, each with its own permissions :-

  • Analyst :- Can view insights and see which of the other page roles published what content.
  • Advertiser :- Can do everything the Analyst can do and also create ads.
  • Moderator :- Can do everything the Analyst and the Advertiser can do and also send messages, delete comments and posts, and remove/ban people from the page.
  • Editor :- Can do everything the Analyst, the Advertiser, and the Moderator can do. Can also create and delete posts as the page as well as edit the page.
  • Admin :- Can do everything the others can do but also manage page roles and settings.

How to Add admin to Facebook Page

Step 1 :- Log in your Facebook account.

Step 2 :- Click on pages. Then Click on your page name.

Step 3 :- Click on settings.

Step 4 :- Click on page roles.

Step 5 :- Scroll down, Type in the name of the person you want to add as an admin on your Facebook page.

Step 6 :- Click on Editor and select Admin.

Step 7 :- Click Add.

Adding a new admin to your Page will give them the same permission as you. They will be able to make changes to your Page.

After you click on add, you might be prompted to input your Facebook password. After doing that, Finally, click on save.

Remove Someone Who Has a Role, If you are an admin

  • Click Settings at the top of your Page.
  • Click Page Roles in the left column.
  • Click Edit next to the person you want to remove, and then click Remove.
  • Click Confirm. You may need to enter your password.

Note :- You can always remove yourself from a Page, but if you are the Pages only admin, you will need to add another admin first.

Change Someones Role , If you are an admin:

  • Click Settings at the top of your Page.
  • Click Page Roles in the left column.
  • Click Edit next to the name of the person whose role you want to change and then select a new role from the dropdown menu.
  • Click Save. You may need to enter your password to confirm.

Note :- If you are a new admin, keep in mind that you may need to wait 7 days before you can remove or demote another admin.
