How To Remove A Label In Gmail


Gmail is labels are the online different to the folders found in standalone email programs. Whereas the emails are not virtually kept individually, the labels build it possible to type them as if they are. As useful as labels are keep email organized, typically they are a nuisance. You can simply take away them on your Gmail page or through your Gmail settings.


Two ways to remove a label in gmail :-

Step 1 :- Click on the message to open it.

A drop down will appear, deselect any of the labels you no longer want.

Step 1 :- Put a check box next to the message.

Step 2 :- Select the label button.

Alternately, you can edit and remove labels in your Gmail settings menu.

Step 1 :- Click on the gear button near the top right of your Gmail page.

Step 2 :- Scroll down to "Settings" and click on "Labels."
