WhatsApp Gold Hoax : A Virus That You Should Not Download !!


A hoax message designed to trick users into downloading a virus is circulating again on WhatsApp.

A message encouraging users to download a fake update called WhatsApp Gold has been doing the rounds since 2016.

The latest message has sent users into a panic about what they should do if they receive the link.

WhatsApp previously confirmed that WhatsApp Gold was a hoax, stating that Plus have no relationship with WhatsApp and we do not support WhatsApp Plus.

The scam encourages users to click on a dangerous link via the app to "update" to the alleged premium service.

Once they have clicked the link, they are then taken to a website riddled with malware, which can break into your phone, and steal your messages and other private data.

There is a new hoax message spreading in town on WhatsApp and you should beware of it. The message is related to WhatsApp Gold.

Some users have recently received a message that states: Today the radio was talking about Whatsapp Gold and its true.
